Topics that will be covered include: how to keep essential records, tips on placing orders, efficient processing of materials, ways to improve the quality of library collections and a discussion of policy and copy right issues.

Feast on a banquet of new fiction and nonfiction for teens, ages 12-18.  Explore trends in publishing for teens and latest from perennially popular authors.  Those in attendence will be able to see and touch the books for themselves. The presenters' enthusiastic and dynamic style and their love of good books will inspire you to share these new titles with your students.

Get your fingers and mind ready for an active hands-on session on a variety of activities that you can implement immediately. Ideas and lessons for making pop-up books, origami books, blank journals from old textbook covers and mini-books will be included.  Appropriate for those working with all ages.
