An endowment fund has
been created by the Oregon Educational Media Association from
the Connie Hull Estate. The purpose of the endowment fund is to
benefit OEMA and its members.
An Endowment Committee
has been established to make decisions regarding the investment
and disbursement of funds form the endowment fund. The committee
will be comprised of the board members listed below.

The committee will
approve grants for projects which strengthen the educational
impact of School Libraries in Oregon and support efforts to strengthen
literacy and academic achievement of K-12 students. The four areas of grant

will meet twice a year in May and December (meetings may be
electronic or face to face). May meetings will be to:

Proposals for funds may
be submitted by any member of OASL to the Executive Director at
OASL's address. Proposals for funds to be made in a written
letter, with a description of how the funds are to be used and
how much funding is needed.
