Listserv

OASL sponsors a mailing list to promote the professional growth and strengthen communication among members. Participation in the OASL mailing list is a benefit of membership in the Oregon Association of School Libraries.
All OASL members are automatically subscribed to the listserv.
Only subscribed OASL members may send to and receive messages from the mailing list.
If you are not a member of OASL and would like to join, go to our Membership page.

To send messages to the OASL mailing list, use this e-mail address:
oasl-all@memberclicks.com

If you are not already receiving messages from the OASL listserv, please login to MemberClicks to edit your profile. Select oasl-all in the listserv field and click on Save. While you are in the online directory, please look carefully at your profile to be sure that your directory information is up-to-date and correct.
If you have questions about the listserv, contact Edith Fuller at efuller@pps.k12.or.us
For questions about membership data, contact JoAnn Klassen at oaslmembership@comcast.net

OASL LISTSERV NETIQUETTE :
Please observe the following requirements when posting and replying to the OASL mailing list:

1. Use informative subject headers.  Be specific, be precise, avoid vague headers.
2. Keep messages brief, to the point, and meaningful.
3. Avoid using ALL CAPS.  This is the email equivalent of shouting.
4. Sign messages with your full name, school location, and email address.
5. On replying, summarize the original post selectively, just enough so subscribers understand the context for your reply message.  It is not necessary to include the original message in its entirety.
6.  Read the Reply to: before sending the message.  Reply to the individual sender when your response is not relevant to the entire listserv.
7.  Include all information within the email message if possible. Please avoid sending large attachments for these reasons:
     a. Receiving attachments via slower connections can be slow and inconvenient
     b. Viruses can be sent in attached files.
8. When appropriate, send a summary of replies in an email to the listserv to share the wisdom garnered from the group.
9. Vendor members are welcomed on the OASL listserv and are free to contact individual members off-list when issues of interest are raised. Commercial messages, however, are not allowed.

Questions or concerns about the OASL mailing list to be addressed to
